Improvisation can be used by the actor in so many ways! This workshop will take you through a series of exercises & games that can be used to create material, expand already scripted material, or to deepen the rehearsal process. Open to all levels, everyone participates.

Emily Nelson is the founder of ACEN and will be teaching this class. Pulling from her classical training (Carnegie Mellon University), 14 years of professional acting in feature films and network television, Emily has developed a unique style and approach to training actors over the past 10 years.  Class is part lecture, part exercise, part cold reading.  Be prepared to take notes and participate.
