Basic Audition Technique
Join us for two Saturdays to work on bringing your audition to the next level. Regardless of your experience level as an actor, this workshop can help you sharpens your performance and give you reliable tools for preparing an audition.



Week 1 - Students will be sent audition material several days before class begins. You will be asked to prepare it as an audition to be preformed at the first class. All auditions will be taped. Playback and adjustments given.

Week 2 - Students are asked to take notes, and prepare audition as a call back session. All auditions will be taped. We will use play back to discuss performance as well as the effect of different preparation approaches.

  • Understanding genre, tone and role size
  • How to be 'good in a room'
  • Prep, Rehearsal, Coaching & Self Tape
  • In Person vs On Camera Audition
