What is the
​Hollywood Acting Experience?

The Hollywood Acting Experience is a 3 day intensive that delivers the tools, insights and creative approaches used by actors in Los Angeles, directly to you. The 3 days will include scene work, improvisation, cold reading, self taping and more. You'll learn to create in the moment, be present, and connect. You'll learn to trust your instincts and experience the freedom that brings to your acting. You'll learn to love the process as you boost your confidence! Our workshop offers an opportunity for you to dive in to new techniques in a safe and supported space. Join us for a challenging, fun-filled weekend, and learn from Hollywood actors who work!
Friday 6pm - 10pm
Saturday 9am- 6pm
Sunday 9am- 3pm
Classes will be held in Beijing.

Danny Salay is a American actor who has worked in movies/TV around the world. He currently is working out of Los Angeles on TV/movies. His most recent role as D-boy was in the Chinese epic tale Time Raiders directed by Daniel Lee which is showing in theaters now. Danny Salay is also know for his travel website and his blog on traveling the world and working in cinema.

Emily is a professional actress, improviser, voice over artist and teacher living in Los Angeles. Originally from Chicago, she began acting and improvising at a young age at The Second City.  She then went on to  earn a BFA in Acting from Carnegie Mellon University. Some of her television credits the Sony Pictures feature film MADE OF HONOR; Network Television guest stars and recurring roles including CODE BLACK, BONES, THE MENTALIST, COLD CASE, BOSTON LEGAL, WITHOUT A TRACE, and ER. Emily's work is rooted on stage. Some of her favorite productions include COOKING WITH ELVIS, HOME FREE!, THE EFFECT OF GAMMA RAYS ON MAN IN THE MOON MARIGOLDS, among others. Emily has taught professional actors for many years independently, also with The David Kagen School for Film and Television Acting and the International Academy for Film & Television.  In NYC & Chicago Emily worked as a teaching artist, teaching in schools and outreach programs such as Young Storytellers(LA) and Urban Anthropology Project (LA), Creative Youth Community Learning Experience (Chicago) and The Shanti Foundation For Peace (Chicago), Society For The Education of the Arts (NYC), The National Shakespeare Company(NYC), Actor’s Creative Experience(NYC), Strike Anywhere! Improvisation (NYC), The Florida Studio Theatre (Sarasota, FL), and The Washington Island Players (Washington Island, WI). She now owns and operates her own acting studio ACEN. Emily coaches actors on an individual basis, as well as on set for film and other projects.

Living in Los Angeles California, Garret Camilleri has been working in the entertainment industry for over 12 years now. Him and his business partner took over ownership of Your Studio Productions in 2015 and have grown the business into one of the top acting/ casting director workshop schools in Hollywood today. Your Studio Productions is proud to host The Hollywood Acting Experience and bring to China a more advanced training method that will help actors translate their talents to any stage or movie set around the world. Garret will also be teaching the Self Taping/Audition section of the weekend intensive.

Cancellation/Refund Policy for Hollywood Acting Experience ONLY
  • Once payment is made you are considered enrolled in the weekend intensive.  You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours once payment is received.
  • If you choose to drop the class you must email us ASAP at [email protected]. The date received will be considered the date the class has been dropped. 
  • This is our REFUND POLICY
    • If the classes are canceled by Hollywood Acting Experience, entirety or in part, the price of the classes not held will be refunded. The refund will be prorated to class days held/not held.
    • If the student drops the class for what ever reason -
      • as of September 6th 2016 , 50% will be refunded
      • as of October 1st 2016, 25% will be refunded
      • as of November 1st 2016,  there are NO refunds or partial credits.
    • All refunds will be completed with in 10 business days of notice from student.
  • If a class is Sold Out, please send an email to hollywoodactingexperience@gmail.com. If space opens up you will be notified. 
  • We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave class who does not maintain a safe working environment. This is up to the sole discretion of the teachers. If you are asked to leave there will be NO refunds or partial credit.
